Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA 2023), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Sendiflow. This page explains what that means and how to submit a request.
1. What We Can Delete
- Your account profile (name, email address, role)
- Reports you authored, where deletion does not conflict with your organisation's data retention obligations
- Your device/session data and preferences
- Any marketing consent records tied to your email
2. What We Cannot Delete
- Financial transaction records (required for tax and audit purposes for a minimum of 6 years)
- Data your organisation is contractually obligated to retain
- Logs required for security or legal investigations
3. Organisation Accounts
If you are an officer or staff member within an organisation using Sendiflow, your data deletion request must be coordinated with your organisation's administrator. Sendiflow will not unilaterally delete data from an active organisational account without authorisation from the account owner.
4. How to Submit a Request
Email: info@sendiflow.com
Subject line: Data Deletion Request – [Your Full Name]
Include: Your registered email address, your organisation name (if applicable), and a description of what you want deleted.
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days, in line with NDPA 2023 requirements.
5. Account Closure
If you wish to close your Sendiflow account entirely, include that in your request. Closing an account triggers a full data deletion except for legally required retention items listed in Section 2.
